I Love Food Message: I've grown up to love and appreciate the food laid out in front of me. My family members love food as much as I do. Its just a pity that my appetite is not as big as theirs. But I do manage to eat a lot when there's really really good food. I love all kinds of cuisine but have a soft spot for anything spicy. I cook for myself when I have the time. I bake for my family. And sometimes its perfect, sometimes its not. I'm not a professional chef, but I do love cooking. The aroma flowing out of the kitchen door is always the best, whereas the aroma coming out of the toilet door after a satisfying meal is not my favourite. There's so much more to know about me. Guess you're just going to have to find out. More about me. It's Chinese Take Out Time Adventures With Chopsticks

Friday, November 14, 2008 I cooked again! I'm so happy. I cooked for myself because the others (Jun Yen and Yin Chau) had class and John didn't want any. Soooo happy! I had this for lunch yesterday. Man, I can start teaching people how to cook. ;) I should be a photographer or chef. Not a fucking accountant! KNNCCB! Well firstly, the ingredients that you require. Then you cook the sauce. In a pan, drizzle a little olive oil and spread it. Add the garlic, stir until fragrant and add the onions. Stir a little while so that the "taste" is out. Add the sausages and stir awhile so that the sausage can take in some of the taste. Add the tomato sauce with a little bit of water. Add salt and pepper to taste. I added some chilli powder. Its really up to you. If you don't wish to add water, no worries, I just don't like the sauce to be TOO thick or TOO watery. Once you've cooked the sauce, simmer awhile. For me because i'm cooking for one person, I just add the spaghetti into the pan and mix well. Whilst it is still warm in the pan, I add some sliced parmesan cheese and stir a little. And then serve. And since I LOOOOVE parmesan cheese SO much, I added some more parmesan. Sprinkled it over and ta-dah!!! Of course this is just whatever I find lying around and put it in. For a better sauce, add mushrooms and some minced meat instead of the sausage. And you could throw in some extra Italian herbs like basil, oregano. just a little, you don't want it to be overwhelming that it kills the tomato taste. So there you have it =) Labels: food |
