I Love Food Message: I've grown up to love and appreciate the food laid out in front of me. My family members love food as much as I do. Its just a pity that my appetite is not as big as theirs. But I do manage to eat a lot when there's really really good food. I love all kinds of cuisine but have a soft spot for anything spicy. I cook for myself when I have the time. I bake for my family. And sometimes its perfect, sometimes its not. I'm not a professional chef, but I do love cooking. The aroma flowing out of the kitchen door is always the best, whereas the aroma coming out of the toilet door after a satisfying meal is not my favourite. There's so much more to know about me. Guess you're just going to have to find out. More about me. It's Chinese Take Out Time Adventures With Chopsticks

Thursday, April 30, 2009 Iced lemon tea. I liked this. It wasn't too sweet, wasn't too sour. I could actually taste the hint of tea and lemon. Lamb Shank. RM35. It wasn't fantastic, nor was it horrible. A little too plain though. Mash potatoes would have been better than fries. And the celery was not crunchy anymore =( Its soft and.... =S Spicy Chicken Rice. RM23 Not really spicy per se. My sis enjoyed the rice, but my mum said it tasted normal. The chicken was tasty and not too dry. Apart from that, the only complain was that the portion of rice is too little. Chicken Rendang Nasi Lemak. RM22 Mum didn't complain. She only said that the rice portion was too little. If you are to have the Nasi Lemak, I suggest you go at 10am to 12pm, they serve it at only RM12. Much more worth it... DOH! Anyway, I probably wouldn't go back there. Not my type of food. I mean, the taste and service. Kinda slow. I would still rather go to Sakura at Bukit Bintang. Nasi Lemak there is so much nicer. IMO, go to Aseana if you're hungry and have cash to splurge and don't mind overpriced food. Then again, its because of the location. Oh well.... Labels: asian, local delights, lunch, western |
